Ben Krauskopf

Ben was most recently a Director at Houlihan Lokey, where for over 10 years he advised companies and their stakeholders through complex M&A transactions, recapitalizations, restructurings, and equity and debt capital raises. He has successfully closed over $13 billion in aggregate transaction value across multiple industries. Prior to HL, Ben was at Amazon.com in Seattle where he had category P&L responsibility and helped launch strategic paid search.
A native east coaster, Ben now resides in Gig Harbor, WA with his wife Rachel and their three kids, where they attend Believers Fellowship.
Ben holds a B.S. degree in business administration from Bucknell and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Ben has served with Young Life and Youth for Christ in Tacoma, WA.
Brent Blonkvist
Co-Founder; Managing Principal
Brent brings nearly fifteen years of experience in finance, entrepreneurship, and operations. Before Palingen, he co-founded The Long Drink Company, the world’s fastest-growing US spirits brand (2022 & 2023), and served as a founding advisor at Avenir Growth Capital, a NYC-based growth equity firm with $2B+ AUM. Previously he served as President & COO of Odyssey, a venture-backed media technology company creating a space for more civilized conversation online. Brent started his career at HSBC covering multinational corporates and finished his time in the investment bank’s Structured Finance & Advisory group focused on the energy sector.
After spending a decade in New York City, Brent moved back to his hometown of San Antonio, Texas in 2022 with his wife, Alex, and their two children. Since then, they have welcomed a third child and found loving community at First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio.
Brent serves on the national board of Generous Life and enjoys CrossFit, swimming, art, and music. He earned a B.S. in international business and finance from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Paul Wallace
Managing Principal
Paul is a seasoned private equity investor with 25+ years of experience. He has served on the Investment Committee for 7 investment funds with $2+ billion AUM and personally participated in over 100 transactions. Paul most recently served as a Partner with the Heritage Group which managed three funds with over $700M AUM.
Prior to Heritage, Paul held roles at prominent private equity firms including GTCR, Lazard, Gilbert Global, Petra Capital, and SV Investors. He also served as a senior executive with Tivity Health (now owned by Stone Point Capital), helping deliver 7x growth over 6 years.
Paul is a native of Nashville, where he now lives with his wife Missy. They attend Midtown Fellowship Church and enjoy visiting their three aspiring-adult children.
Paul holds a B.A in economics from the University of Richmond and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Richard Schnuerer
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Schnuerer serves as Chief Financial Officer at Palingen. He brings over two decades of experience in fund accounting, finance and compliance, having held senior roles at firms including Courage Capital, Merrill Lynch, Deloitte and KPMG. He is founder of Starrlight Advisory, offering outsourced financial services to a variety of alternative investment managers. He resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife Ann and three children, where they attend Covenant Presbyterian Church. Mr. Schnuerer holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from The Ohio State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Ohio and New York.

Clint Weber
CEO, Advancement Foundation
Mr. Weber is the President of the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth Advancement Foundation and Managing Principal at Trinity Investment Management, LLC. He is responsible for a faith-driven multi-strategy, multi-asset class investment portfolio of $125+MM, providing asset management services to Catholic and Christian Institutions across the United States. Additionally, Mr. Weber has 20 years of leadership, management, and operational experience as a Marine Officer and Naval Aviator. Mr. Weber resides in Fort Worth with his wife Heather, and daughter, where their family belongs to St. Andrew Catholic Church. He holds a B.A. from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A from Texas Christian University’s Neeley School of Business.
Watt Matthews
VP of Investments, Legett and Kickapoo Springs Foundations
Watt R. Matthews is a Vice President of Investments at the Matthews Family Office. Previously, Mr. Matthews worked in various roles from Analyst to Managing Director at Main Street Capital Corporation, a Houston-based investment firm. At Main Street, Mr. Matthews managed a portfolio of credit-related assets across a diverse set of industries, with a focus on the energy, industrial, and financial sectors. His responsibilities included sourcing and underwriting private middle market loans and equity investments, opportunistic investments in tradable credit, and distressed workouts and restructurings. He also managed a portfolio of LP commitments to external private equity and credit managers. Mr. Matthews graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and graduated from the TCU Ranch Management Program. Mr. Matthews serves on the board of the Kickapoo Springs Foundation, the Texas Agricultural Land Trust, and Turtle Creek Wealth Advisors. Mr. Matthews previously served on the board of First Financial Trust, an asset management subsidiary of First Financial Bankshares Inc.

Michael Tapp
Operating Partner
Mr. Tapp brings deep experience in private equity, corporate leadership, and industrial distribution. He has served on multiple corporate and advisory boards, including iQ International, Nebia, and Skycatch, and currently serves as a director of RiseIT Solutions. Mr. Tapp was previously an Officer of Interstate Batteries, where he led both the company’s retail franchise and industrial power divisions. He has also held leadership roles with Fluid Compressor Partners, Macfarlan Capital Partners, and The George Group. Mr. Tapp is a Senior Advisor to Falkon Ventures, Energy Capital Vietnam, and Palingen Capital. A native Texan, he resides in Dallas with his wife Tonya and their two children. Mr. Tapp holds a B.S. from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Bruce Hill

Mr. Hill is the President and Principal Owner of BHCH Mineral, Ltd., a mineral and royalty company with interests in over 13,500 wells across nineteen states. He also serves as President of Hill Leasing Partners, Ltd., a real estate investment and development firm. Mr. Hill is a partial owner of the San Antonio Spurs and serves as Chairman of the Board for the San Antonio Missions baseball team. He is actively involved in various philanthropies and has served on numerous nonprofit boards, including the Admiral Nimitz Foundation and the Alamo Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Hill earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law. He and his wife, Ellen, are lifelong residents of San Antonio and have four children and eight grandchildren.
Marshall Everett

Mr. Everett was a Co-Founder of Palingen Capital before serving as Director of Strategic Initiatives at Regent University. He also serves as Co-Founder and Advisor at Juno, a real estate development firm focused on innovative housing solutions. Prior to these ventures, Mr. Everett was a Managing Director at Advance Realty, where he led investment and development initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held positions at A&E Real Estate and Goldman Sachs, gaining experience in real estate investments and financial analysis. Mr. Everett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and Architecture from Princeton and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Robert George

Robert P. George is McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and Director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions. He has served as chairman of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), and before that on the President’s Council on Bioethics and as a presidential appointee to the United States Commission on Civil Rights. He has also served as the U.S. member of UNESCO’s World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology (COMEST). He is a former Judicial Fellow at the Supreme Court of the United States, where he received the Justice Tom C. Clark Award. A graduate of Swarthmore College, he holds J.D. and M.T.S. degrees from Harvard University and the degrees of D.Phil., B.C.L., D.C.L., and D.Litt. from Oxford University. He has been a visiting professor at Harvard Law School and is a member of the American Academy of Sciences and Letters and the Council on Foreign Relations.

Mr. Gentry serves as a director at Generous Life, a community of faith inspired philanthropists. He is the former Lead Pastor of Lower Manhattan Community Church, where he provided spiritual leadership and organizational oversight. He is also an advisor to Palingen Capital, contributing to the firm's mission of investing in purpose-driven businesses. Mr. Gentry holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. Mr. Gentry was a Professional Engineer with a career in urban planning before 12 years in pastoral ministry in NYC and has his own Executive Coaching practice. He resides in New York City with his 3 amazing children.
Patrick Crawford

Mr. Crawford is Senior Vice President and Partner at TDI Real Estate, where he leads the firm's investment strategy, focusing on deploying capital through preferred equity investments in multifamily development projects and leading their capital strategy and asset management for their current $3.5 billion multifamily portfolio. Prior to joining TDI, he co-founded Riata Development, an attainable housing platform, and worked at Value Inc., advising on over $1 billion in client transactions across various industries. Mr. Crawford serves on the Investment Committee of the H.E. Butt Foundation, overseeing its endowment portfolio. He holds a B.B.A. from Baylor University and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business. Mr. Crawford is a CFA Charter holder and resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife and three children.

Mr. Limcher is a Partner at Reimagined Capital Management, an impact-focused private equity firm dedicated to building up American families through long-term, values-aligned investments. He is also Co-Founder of BarBoards.tv, a technology company delivering AI-powered advertising and interactive content to sports bars and restaurants. Prior to Reimagined, Mr. Limcher was on the investment team at The Sterling Group, a $6 billion middle market private equity firm focused on the industrial sector. He began his career as an investment analyst at Prime Natural Resources, the energy-focused private equity arm of Elliott Management. Mr. Limcher holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with honors from The University of Texas at Austin, with a minor in Computational Science.
